X‐ray crystal structure analysis of 2‐chloro‐9‐(ω‐dimethylamino‐propyliden)‐thioxanthene shows that the physiologically active, higher melting isomer (M. p. 97–98°) has the side chain in cis ‐configuration to the chlorine substituent.
