The stability constants of the complexes formed by different metal ions with ligands of the type ( − OOCCH 2 ) 2 N(CH 2 ) n N(CH 2 COO − ), with n = 3 and 4, have been determined. In the case of trimethylenediamine‐NNN′N′‐tetraacetate, complex formation has been investigated using 5 different methods. The results from all these methods are coincident.
