The reported new examples of the S TEVENS rearrangement of allyl‐ (or crotyl‐)phenacyl‐ammonium salts confirm that the allyl (or crotyl) group migrates rather than the phenacyl group, and that the migration of the crotyl group is accompanied by a shift of the double bond analogous to the shift in an allyl rearrangement.
