The formation of H 2 O 2 during autoxydation of certain cytostatic agents like α‐aminoketones and methylhydrazine derivatives is shown to depend on the presence of metal ions. The biochemical implications of this finding, e.g. for the development of cytostatic tumor therapy and of appropriate tests are discussed.
