The solubility of aged iron(III) hydroxide precipitates was investigated by determining [Fe 3+ ] and [H + ] of solutions in contact with the solid phases. [Fe 3+ ] and [H + ] were measured by the EMF.‐method at the constant ionic strength 3M (Na)C10 4 . The precipitates were investigated by X‐ray and electron microscope methods. The following equilibrium constants were derived:
