A dicarbazolo‐diazocine derivative XIV with the chromophoric system of the toxiferines has been synthesized starting from 4a‐methyl‐l,2, 3, 4‐tetrahydro‐ carbazolenine (V). For two stereoisomeric epoxides XV and XVI which can be isolated besides XIV structures have been established. NMR‐data of XIV, XV and XVI confirm the constitutions given and allow to deduce some details of the steric structure of the three compounds.
