Four crystalline vitamin A 2 isomers, i.e. all‐ trans , 13‐ cis , 9‐ cis , and 9,13‐di‐ cis , as well as the corresponding acids and aldehydes, have been prepared from cis ‐ and trans ‐dehydro‐β‐ionylideneacetaldehyde.
