Ferrioxamine E, a minor component of the natural mixture of ferrioxamines, is an iron(III)‐complex of nocardamine to which the constitution II may be now assigned on the basis of new evidence. Ferrioxamine E thus possesses the constitution III and probably the relative configuration V.
