The vapour pressure of PuF 4 in the range of 1000–1300°K has been measured. Experiments indicate that PuF 4 is the sublimed species up to the higher temperature limit. The possible disproportionation of PuF 4 at temperatures above this or the secondary disproportionation in the gaseous phase cannot be ruled out.
