The ylang‐ylang concrete contains as important volatile constituents: p‐cresyl methyl ether, methyl benzoate, (−)‐linalool, benzyl acetate and benzyl benzoate but no linalyl acetate and benzyl alcohol. It is firmly established that the concrete contains no sesquiterpenes in noticeable proportion.
