A new method is proposed for the calculation of the dissociation constants of mono‐ and polybasic acids. This method permits the pH‐metric determination of the constants, even and especially if their values are very close, and is of wide application. Two examples are given: determination of the two constants of oxalyl‐hydroxamic acid and of the four constants of ethyleneglycol‐bis‐(β‐amino‐ethylether)‐N, N′‐tetraacetic acid.
