Aus den Wurzeln von Capraria biflora L. wurde eine neue antibiotisch wirksame Verbindung C 20 H 20 O 3 , das Biflorin , isoliert. Die physikalischen und chemischen Eigenschaften weisen darauf hin, dass es sich um eine polycyclische, aromatische o‐chinoide Verbindung handelt.
