1. Out of 62 diamines, tested as potential substrates of mammalian diamine oxidase (DO), 22 are acted upon by this enzyme. Fifteen compounds are reported for the first time to be substrates of DO in general and 17 for the enzyme obtained from hog kidney cortex.
