Du méso‐inositol deutérié essentiellement en position 2 a été administré par voie intrapéritonéale à des rats phlorhizinés. Le glucose retiré de leur urine contenait l'isotope essentiellement en position 6. Le mécanisme de la glucogenèse à partir du méso‐inositol dans l'organisme du Rat a été discuté.
