Über den 14 C‐Acetat‐Einbau in die Fettsäuren von Schnitten durch Cholinmangel bedingter Fettlebern

Following earlier investigations on the synthesis of fatty acids in the fatty liver we added 14 C‐acetate to liver slices of fatty livers and normal ones. After two hours incubation the isolated fatty acids deriving from fatty liver slices showed lower activities as those from normal livers. Contrarily to the results obtained on the whole animal the synthesis of fatty acids from acetate in fatty liver slices is reduced.
