Es wird gezeigt, dass Trollixanthin, das Pigment aus den Blüten von Trollius europaeus , sehr wahrscheinlich die Konstitution des 6′‐Oxy‐xanthophyll‐epoxyds und Trollichrom die Struktur des 6′‐Oxy‐chrysanthemaxanthins besitzt.
