Es wird die Isolierung von Thebain, Papaverin, δ‐Yohimbin, Yohimbin, Reserpsäure‐methylester und eines Alkaloids der Zusammensetzung C 22 H 26 O 4 N 2 (Alkaloid C) aus den Wurzeln von Rauwolfia serpentina Benth. beschrieben. Für das Alkaloid C konnte die Struktur eines 11‐Methoxy‐δ‐yohimbins wahrscheinlich gemacht werden.
