Es wird die Gewinnung von Methoxy‐, Äthoxy‐, Äthyl‐ und Phenylderivaten des Montmorillonits beschrieben. Es wurde dazu das Chlorid des Montmorillonits mit Methanol, Äthanol, Äthylmagnesiumjodid bzw. Benzol mit Aluminiumchlorid behandelt.
