‘The Pleistocene on the hoof’ is a collection of research papers presented in honour of Andy Currant, emeritus curator of fossil mammals at the Natural History Museum, London. They are intended to show something of the breadth of Andy's interests and include contributions to micromammal palaeogeography and biostratigraphy, the morphology, classification and interpretation of fossil deer, electron spin resonance dating, palaeoanthropology, megafaunal extinctions, the ichnology of Jamaica, and the exploration of ideas on human evolution by H. G. Wells. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
