In article 2000119 by Minna Hakkarainen and co‐workers, fast, efficient, and selective microwave‐assisted recycling of polyamide/polypropylene carpet waste is demonstrated. During this process, polyamide fibers are hydrolyzed back to monomers, while the polypropylene part can be collected as a solid residue. The method does not require a complicated separation step and the produced products are ready for further usage.
