Abstract We report the cytogenetic analysis of a choroid plexus papilloma, a benign tumor, with a modal number of 56 chromosomes. In our review of the few reported karyotypes of choroid plexus tumors, we found no predictive relationship between the karyotype and the pathologic diagnosis or outcome.
