In April of 2021, this author had the great pleasure of speaking at the McGill University's School of Continuing Education and Emerging Technology Webinar Series, entitled 5G—Health and the Environment . During this session, the topic of sustainability was of particular interest to the moderators and to the audience. This column will share some insights on impact of 5G on the energy industry and decarbonization.
