As people across the globe celebrated Earth Day this year, climate change and global efforts for reducing carbon emissions took center stage as President Biden held a two‐day Global Leaders' Summit on Climate. Virtually hosting more than 40 world leaders and top executives from various industry sectors, the event aimed to reset the global stage for the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) this November in Glasgow and to demonstrate strong US commitment to decarbonization after four years of significant rollbacks on environmental regulations and inaction on climate change under the previous Administration.
