A two‐layer approach is proposed to compute complex flows including separations. For high‐ and low‐Reynolds‐number regions we use a two‐equation k ‐ϵ model and a one‐equation k ‐ L model respectively. A robust algorithm is proposed for the treatment of the convective part of the turbulence equations. Several complex configurations including separations are computed.
