We propose a non‐iterative method to connect non‐matching block‐structured meshes applied to the resolution of the Navier–Stokes equations. The present article gives a complete description of the method based on the implicit treatment of the connecting condition. We also extend it to curvilinear meshes. The spatial convergence order of the method is shown to be two and the approach is validated on different 2D laminar flows frequently found in the literature.
