Studies on the chemical composition of the essential oil from leaves of selected Eucalyptus globulus Labill. ssp. globulus trees have been undertaken. The hydrodistilled samples were analysed by GLC and GC‐MS. Fifty‐three oil components have been identified; 1,8‐cineole, α‐pinene, limonene, aromadendrene, δ‐cadinene, and globulol were the most abundant compounds, representing 93% of the total oil.
