Osthole 1 , 7‐methoxy‐8‐(3‐methylbut‐2‐enyl) coumarin, and gomerol 2 were detected as trace constituents in the non‐volatile fraction of cold‐pressed peel oil obtained from Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck cv. Valencia. Neither the coumarin nor the diterpene was previously known as a constituent of sweet orange oil. Gomerol was synthesized from manool 3 to confirm its structure.
