Abstract The volatile constituents of Ziziphora tenuior L. (Lamiaceae), from two different regions of Turkey, were studied for the first time. Twenty‐six compounds, out of the 33 detected were identified by means of capillary GC and GC—MS. The identified components represent about 99.4% and 98.8% of the samples. The major constituent found was pulegone (87.1 % and 86.3 % of the samples).
