The essential oil isolated by hydrodistillation from leaves, twigs and branchlets of Cupressus lusitanicus Mill., Portuguese cypress, was analysed by capillary GC. The identified components and the percentage composition of the oil are given as well as the physical and chemical characteristics of the oil, which were determined using ISO standard methods.
