The air‐dried aerial parts of Sideritis granatensis (Pau) Rivas‐Goday yielded 0.27% (vol/wt) of essential oil by hydrodistillation. The oil was investigated for the first time and more than 93% was identified. α‐Pinene (20%), fenchol (18%), fenchone (9%), fenchyl acetate (8%), 1,8‐cineole (5%) and limonene (5%) were the main components.
