Sulphur‐containing compounds in the essential oil of the root of Ferula persica Willd. var. persica

The essential oil of Ferula persica Willd. var. persica root has been investigated by GC and GC–MS and 39 compounds representing 82.0% were identified. Dimethyl trisulphide (18.2%), myristicin (8.9%) and dimethyl tetrasulphide (7.6%) were the main components. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
