Phlomoides semnanensis (Phlomideae, Lamioideae, Lamiaceae) is described and illustrated as a new species of Semnan Province of central Iran. It is closely related to Phlomoides labiosiformis and Phlomoides binaludensis in general morphology, but differs primarily in calyx indumentum, corolla and calyx size and petiole length.
