We reevaluated two taxa of Cardamine leucantha (Tausch) O. E. Schulz in Korea. The morphological characteristics and molecular datasets of individuals collected were compared with those of herbarium specimens, including type specimens in TI. The results indicated that C. leucantha var. toensis T. Lee (invalid name) and C. koreana Nakai were characterized by a continuous distribution of morphological data, such as those for leaf margin or hairy ovary. Furthermore, molecular datasets (including internal transcriber spacer (ITS) and trn L‐F region) did not support the view that these are separate taxa based on the hairy ovary or fruit valve.
