Weed plant communities of orchards in Siwa Oasis have been studied. Phytosoziological analysis was carried out based on 116 releves selected from the cultivated land where orchards habitat dominating the plant life. Three associations have been discussed, and defined mainly according to their floristic structure and composition as well as their environmental relationships. Two of them: Convolvulo (arvensis)‐Imperatetum cylindrici and Euphorbio‐Stellarietum medici were described as new syntaxa in the present study. Floristic analysis revealed the modest representation of pure Mediterranean taxa, while bi and pluriregional taxa constitute the main bulk of the flora of orchards in Siwa Oasis, denoting the severe human interference in this area.
