An idea about the extinct and endemic woody perennial threatened taxa that need to be conserved was discreened. The valid name, habitat, local and world distribution and the floristic category is given for each taxon. The natural rarity of the studied species can be related to its geographical distribution. Degradation of vegetation due to overgrazing is pronounced in wadis where its vegetation is relatively rich and dense. Complete destruction of the natural vegetation is carried out for settlements. Anthropogenic activities also have dramatic effect over natural vegetation especially in desert, where plant life subsits under adverse conditions of aridity.
