The present paper continues the series on taxonomic problems of the powdery mildews. The following new descriptions and combinations are proposed: Erysiphe viciae‐unijugae (Homma) U. Braun comb. nov., E. hiratae U. Braun sp. nov., E. hommae U. Braun sp. nov., E. sedi U. Braun sp. nov., E. pileae (Jač.) Bunkina ex U. Braun sp. nov., E. echinopis U. Braun sp. nov., Microsphaera nomurae U. Braun spec. nov., M. pseudoacaciae (Marčenko) U. Braun comb. nov., M. caryae U. Braun spec. nov., and M. jaczewskii U. Braun nom. nov. Taxonomy and nomenclature of Microsphaera on Viburnum are discussed. The European Microsphaera on Viburnum opulus L. and the North American forms are considered to belong to one species. Microsphaera sparsa Howe is the correct name. Microsphaera hedwigii Lév. on Viburnum lanata L. is kept as a separate species.
