The brackish reeds are classified into the Bolboschoenetum maritimi of sandy, exposed parts of the shore and into the Astero‐Phragmitetum communis K RISCH 72 of muddy, not exposed parts of the shore. Moreover the Oenanthe lahenalii‐Samolusvalerandi ‐community is described. The hitherto existing Juncetum gerardi is splitted and its dry section is placed with the Blysmetum rufi and with the Hordeetum nodosi KRISCH 72 by the Loto‐Trifolion. A complete report of the vegetation of drift litter includes the Potentillo‐Festucetiim arundinaceae, the Soncho‐Archangelicetum litoralis, the communities of Salsolo‐Honckenyion peploidis and of Atriplicion litoralis. The Rumici‐Atriplecetum K RISCH 72, the En‐Atriplicetum K RISCH 72 or the Galeopsio‐Atriplicetum K RISCH 72 form in dependence on the area of shore in which the material of drift litter is deposited. A comparative consideration of zoning vegetation that is dependent (amon other things) on the type of shore of shallow bays and on the cultivation is given. Finally the communities on sand of dunes (Elymo‐Ammophiletum arenariae; Elymus arenarius‐Armeria elongata ‐community) and those of salt‐places (Salicornietum ramosissimae; Puccinellietum maritimae; Puccinellietum distantis) are described.
