(1) The taxon Hesperis silvestris C RANTZ d̊) var. pachycarpa B ORB . Magy. Bot. Lap. 1:376, 1902 is a hybrid arisen by crossing of H. sylvestris with H. matronalis . (2) In the gardens are cultivated, besides H. matronalis L. subsp. matronalis and H. matronalis L. subsp. nivea (Baumg.) K ULZC . also the hybrid plants: Hesperis matronalis subsp. matronalis X Hesperis matronalis subsp. nivea .
