A double forward–reverse (DFR) flow high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique was developed for the separation of coplanar chlorobiphenyl (CB) congener 77 and nonplanar CB congener 110. The DFR separated these two congeners into different HPLC fractions; each fraction was analyzed using gas chromatography–electron capture detection. The method was successfully applied in the analysis of Aroclor mixtures and fish samples.
