The purpose of this article is to provide a bibliography of publications that describe the effects of organic and inorganic chemical contaminants on serum chemistry and hematology of teleost fish with a brief synopsis of those effects. Also included is a review of “normal” or “reference” values for various blood chemistry parameters and hormones measurable in a number of fish species.
