A modified form of Trombe Wall in which the glazing has been replaced by weather resistance material has been proposed and examined for winter heating and summer cooling in mixed climate conditions characterized by a mild winter and a relatively harsh dry summer. The experimental results indicate the potential applications of such a wall, known as Vary‐Therm Wall, in solar passive building architecture for mixed climatic conditions.
