Effects of Hall current on free convection and mass transfer flow through a porous medium bounded by a vertical surface when a uniform magnetic field acts in a plane which makes an angle x with the plane transverse to the plate have been analysed. An analytic solution of the problem is obtained and the effects of the Hall parameter and the permeability parameter, as well as the other parameters entering into the problem, are discussed and shown graphically.
