This note presents vibration analysis of continuous skew plates with intermediate supports by the Rayleigh‐Ritz method with B‐spline functions. The accuracy of the present method is shown in a few typical cases. The results are compared with existing results based on other numerical methods and found to be in good agreement. Natural frequencies of continuous skew plates with several elastic point supports are also analysed for different skew angles and for different stiffnesses of point supports.
