Two novel hydrocarbon fuels derived from bio‐based monoterpene feedstocks by chemoselective hydrogenation are prepared. The ring‐strained, multicyclic structures of these molecules result in higher energy densities and lower viscosities compared to conventional jet fuel. Generation of the starting monoterpenes via fermentation of biomass sugars will enable the sustainable production of high‐performance aviation fuels.
