“I've always been connected to the Monroe County community,” said Ryan Rafko, Director of Admissions and Guidance Services at Monroe County Community College. Rafko is a lifetime resident of Monroe County and earned his associate degree at MCCC. After working in financial aid at several Michigan universities for over 14 years, including five years at MCCC, Rafko transitioned to his current role in admissions in September 2020. Rafko has seen the MCCC campus and community grow over the years and is working to further connect Monroe County residents to the county's only higher education institution.
