Anna Behar‐Russell's background as a program developer for California State University‐Long Beach came in handy when she made the transition to marketing for the university. As a program designer, she worked to develop a certificate program on campus, among other programming, an experience that led her to discover what kind of training needs were not being met in the community. It was an experience that helped shape her philosophy as director of marketing, communications and outreach for the College of Continuing and Professional Education at CSULB.
