Front Cover : The cover picture shows a platform for get nanocellulose, consisting of three main steps: (I) First stage aim at the cellulose ‐hemicellulose ‐lignin complex dismantles and greater exposure of the fibers (cellulose and hemicellulose). Then, (II) the conversion of these polymers can be achieved by enzymatic hydrolysis carried out by cellulase cocktail. Whose act synergistically differing from one another by the region they act on and the way they hydrolyze the polysaccharide under operating conditions controlled to obtain the nanocellulose, which finally, (III) is treated for homogenization. More detailed information can be found in: Ribeiro, R.S.A., Pohlmann, B.C., Calado, V., Bojorge, N., Pereira Jr., N. Production of nanocellulose by enzymatic hydrolysis: Trends and challenges.
