The efficiency and quality of DNA purification from blood samples is one of the important issues for genetic studies on human diseases. Several protocols for the isolation of genomic DNA from blood have been described. In order to improve the efficiency of the purification without affecting DNA quality and quantity, a new protocol, called Puregene EP (Enhanced Productivity) is described for this kit.
