Electrophoresis 2017, 38 , 1441–1449. DOI: 10.1002/elps.201600517 The cover picture shows the contours of the equipotential lines (solid) and the resulting electric field (dashed) in order to produce a constant gradient field‐squared. This characteristic is important for isomotive dielectrophoresis (isoDEP) where the dielectrophoretic force is constant within this region. An isoDEP field can be generated usingmicroelectrodes or insulative structures whose boundaries conform to these contours.
