Issue no. 10 is a special issue on “Electro‐ and Liquid Phase‐separations” (Part II) consisting of 19 contributions that cover a variety of timely and important topics in the field. It has 5 distinct parts: Part I is on proteomics, glycomics and proteins containing 3 review articles and 3 research papers; Part II has 3 contributions on the mechanism of enantioseparations of propranolol, chiral MEKC ‐ MS of benzoin derivatives with mixed micelles, and MS detection in ligand exchange CE; Part III contains 3 articles on some aspects of sample pretreatment and preconcentration for metal ion analysis by CE; Part IV has 2 contributions on DNA separation on glass microchip with no polymer network and by CE in the presence of guanosine gels; Part V is a collection of 5 articles on some assays and methodologies including CE immunoassays with conjugated quantum dots, alignment free optical setup for microfluidic applications, hydrophobic labeling of amino acids for microchip CE, MEKC profiles of human HDL and determination of acrylamide in potato crisps by CE with quantum dot‐mediated LIF detection. Overall, the reader will find this issue to be an excellent source of information on “Electro‐ and Liquid Phase‐separations”.
